About Patricia

Patricia Garcia is a dual board-certified nurse practitioner. She obtained her masters and Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner degree from South University and certification from American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Patricia furthered her education, completing a post-graduate degree from Wilkes University and certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center as Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

As a dual board-certified provider, Patricia has been in practice for over ten years. She creates a safe and therapeutic environment for holistic wellness. She makes her treatment plan decisions together with the patients and utilizes evidence-based practice and medication management to treat those under her care.

Patients see Patricia for a wide range of mental health concerns. Those include anxiety; depression, mood disorder, PTSD, OCD, eating disorders, ADD/ADHD, Schizophrenia, and Autism spectrum disorders, among others. She communicates fluently in English and Spanish. Patricia listens to her patient, understands the needs of them, while treating them with compassion, respect, and the attention they deserve. She strives to deliver high-quality care, as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Patricia Garcia finds purpose in serving the mental health needs of the community.
